Product Description
The StarCraft Battle Chest is an incredible package of the great StarCraft games, on one DVD!
Amazon.com Review
The full versions of StarCraft and the acclaimed expansion pack Brood War, as well as complete strategy guides for each, make StarCraft: Battle Chest a treasure chest for real-time strategy fans.

Instead of two similarly powered enemies facing off, the three distinct races in StarCraft have unique capabilities and strategies. Everyone still competes in the RTS genre's typical race for resources, but that's the only shared trait. Terrans can move their bulky mechanized bases as necessary, while the reptilian Zerg grow their colonies and warriors from mutating larvae. Meanwhile, the noble Protoss warp in equipment from their home world using psionic powers.

Not only does game maker Blizzard juggle the races' playability and match it with superb art and sound effects, it also weaves together an engrossing three-act plot. Early on, as a Terran magistrate, you spend a breathtaking 30 minutes defending against a Zerg onslaught. As the story unfolds around you, you'll experience the Zerg's hive mentality and decipher the mysterious Protoss by the game's dramatic conclusion.

Missions vary in scope and are effectively framed with dialogue, chapter screens, and in-mission exposition. Multiplayer games are also very well represented by Blizzard's own free Battle.net service. If you'd rather play over a local area network, StarCraft will generously "spawn" up to seven copies so your friends can join in.

In keeping with StarCraft's groundbreaking design, Brood War presents you with three sides of a galactic conflict. Scheming humans, insidious Zerg, and proud Protoss collide again, with stunning new cinematics setting the stage. Old friends and foes and ominous new arrivals give the story a breakneck pace, while a handful of additions to each race's arsenal makes for tense battles. Brood War also features stellar new environments and ambient art, as well as more than 100 additional multiplayer maps.

Some missions require a bit of finesse, breaking the resource-gathering routine while making good use of the new units. Humans now have Valkyrie missile frigates as well as medics who automatically try to heal your grunts. New for the Zerg air force is the acid-spewing Devourer; the new Lurker unit provides heavy-duty (under)ground support. Along with the Corsair fighter, the Protoss reenter the fray with Dark Templar, which can merge to form the devastating Dark Archon. Unfortunately, units old and new still suffer from weak artificial intelligence in path finding.

Real-time strategy games don't get any more epic or any more satisfying. --Jack Gardiner

The best game of its time, now a classic (2009-04-10)
When reviewing this product, I must put it into perspective for the time of my review. Starcraft came out in 1998, some 11 years ago now. When it was released, it was a huge hit and won PC game of the year. Now that computers are much faster and graphics have improved, the game can seem a bit out dated to players who have never played it before. For us gamers who remember it from the glory days, we can play it again and still enjoy it, but if your looking for a new game to try, this might be the wrong one for you. Having said that, Korea still has T.V. channels devoted to this game and it is still widely played there.

Starcraft is a futuristic real-time strategy game (that means that you are looking down on units that are under your control). There are three races: Protoss are super-advanced aliens that use incredible technologies and strange energies. Zerg are a primitive dinosaur-like species that use beasts and fleshy creatures. Terran are the human race of the future using technology to aid our fighters in battle. The three races are well balanced and very unique, giving the game excellent replay ability. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

sheer pleasure (2009-04-05)
this is the fourth time i have bought this product...
between my grandson and three other computers...
i have been playing this game since it came out..
i am waiting for the new starcraft 2 to come out..
and it looks like it's going to be better... but this one i have enjoyed for many year along with other players online for along time...

Don't bother if you have a widescreen monitor or laptop. (2009-01-20)
I'm not saying Starcraft is a bad game- but Blizzard has repackaged and resold this title to run on new PC's, but they fail to tell you that game only runs on a small resolution that cannot be changed, and that there is no way to run it in a window mode without using hacks that will not work with the "new" version of the game. This means that if you use a widescreen monitor or a laptop, the graphics are distorted and nasty looking, to a point where I couldn't play it. Shame on blizzard for not adding windowed mode in the latest patches- people have been trying to hack in this feature for years and the request seems to fall on deaf ears. If they don't support the game, they should stop selling it too.

One of the best games ever made! (2008-12-06)
This game is without a doubt one of the best games ever made, and what a DEAL at 19.99 for the whole set! This game's single player is very enjoyable, and you'll also enjoy countless hours of free online play (provided you have a decent internet connection).

Blizzard's free online gaming service is fantastic. Simple and easy to use, and it has everything from competitive 1vs1ing as well as team games of sizes anywhere from 2vs2 to 4vs4, massive 8-way free for alls and more! I really enjoy playing this online with my friends.

If you like real time strategy games, this is a must have. I'd also like to say that of all the games I've played so far by this company, I've never been disappointed. They're all high quality in my opinion, and Starcraft is certainly no exception.

Still one of the best RTS games ever made. (2008-12-01)
Trying to find a game that will run flawlessly on your netbook but still immensely fun? This is that game. Not only fun single player action, but fun online too. Starcraft also has an amazing storyline to it as well.

The Truth about Spore (2009-04-22)
There have been far too many complaints about this game for me to ignore writing a review about it. Spore is, quite simply, one of the most perfect games every constructed. If you have ever in your life thought to yourself any of the following: "Biology is kinda cool," "Fighting aliens is great," or "I really like playing god," then Spore is the game for you.

As anyone can see by looking up the gameplay footage, Spore has many phases at the players disposal. You start as a single cell, evolve into an animal phase, become a semi-sentient species, build a civilization, and then go into space. All of these phases offer a unique style of gameplay. But I'll be honest, when push comes to shove, Spore is all about space.

Once you get into the space phase, it feels as if everything you've done was just a small stepping stone to the mind-bogglingly-large galaxy that Spore has to offer. With countless thousands of stars, almost all with several planets orbiting them, the amount of exploration that the game offers is simply amazing.

Spore is one of the very few games that I simply must say has almost no flaws. It can be played by almost anyone at any age and enjoyed for what it is: a game that helps slap counter-evolutionists in the face.

Cool! A Book and a Poster AND a Making-of DVD! (2009-04-20)
It's Spore. The game is quite fun, as it ranges from a crappy flash game to a awesome third person game to a not-awesome-but-fun RTS game. This edition was the same price as the standard edition (at best buy anyway), so I got it. It comes in a cool plastic "textured" (ooh), and has a poster, making of DVD, and a hardback art book!!!! SuckyouRom hasn't been an issue...yet. If you want a more detailed, every nick and cranny review, search for a review on standard spore.

My son loves this game! (2009-04-13)
This is a great game and I'm happy that after several months I finally decided to ignore the negative reviews and buy it.

Installing it was easy, but when we first try to start the game nothing happened. I searched the internet for information and tried the advice I found there--remove the disk from the drive and click on the desktop shortcut. For the first two or three minutes it didn't seem like anything was happening, but then the game loaded and my 12-year-old son has played it for more hours than I'm willing to admit. We tried exiting and starting it back up and it still takes perhaps a minute or so but then things are fine.

I understand that many people are angry about the Digital Rights Management (DRM) issues and I don't want to comment on that. I will comment that this is a great game and I'm happy that I finally purchased it.

Fantastic Game (2009-03-20)
While I understand the annoyance of the DRM-complaints, the game itself is a separate topic, and should not be detracted from. This is one of the coolest games I have ever seen or played. I purchased it for my seven-year old right when it came out. My son is very interested in evolution, science, computers and critters. He loves it and has had many happy hours playing Spore, both alone and with friends taking turns creating and running each other's creations. I feel it has taught him valuable lessons about getting along with others (making allies, standing up to bullies, working as a team, etc) that he has turned around into real-world behaviors, and it has been exciting to watch him express his creativity in his Spore creations. Spore is very VERY well done, and I think it was worth every penny - I'm very glad I bought it and look forward to the Galactic Adventures expansion pack coming out.

In addition to how much we've enjoyed the game, I enjoyed watching the DVDs in the Galactic Edition - National Geographic always does a great job with their DVDs, and this is no exception.

Honestly, I don't care about the DRM. (2009-03-15)
I really don't need to install this game three times. So seeing all the 1 star reviews with people that haven't played it kinda makes me mad. This game is great, it's a long game, and you can just mess around the with creature creator if you want. It is the most customizable game I've ever played, and if you like customizing [anything] play this game.

Addictive, very addictive (2009-03-26)
I've been wanting to play this game since a long time ago. Even though it is very old, the quality Blizzard put into it makes it my third favorite game (behind Baldur's Gate and FFVII). If you are a gamer that likes leveling up games, this is for you. Perhaps the graphics are not so impressive nowadays, but by the time it was released the were awesome. Personally I think that every gamer should play this game at least once, since it is a very complete game.

Simply amazing (2009-02-25)
I have played Diablo over 9 yrs and just a couple of months ago i got the Battle Chest. I am not tired of it at all, and every update made by Blizzard has being great; providing more fun and action...

Old game perfect for killing time (2009-01-30)
This is a REALLY OLD game, but it is fun to create and build new characters and given the option to play with other players.

Hope you enjoy grinding. (2009-01-27)
Expect to grind for countless hours if you want to clear bosses. Each act contains six quests (often overlapping) and then a final act boss. The act quests are reasonably challenging without being too frustrating, but act bosses will kill you in sometimes one, usually two shots unless you grind for an obscenely long time to get a few levels.

Example: I played without grinding to the end of act 2, coming to the final boss with a Level 23 Druid with 146 hit points. The boss has (on the EASIEST difficulty) no less than 4,000 hit points and routinely does over 100 points of damage on a single strike. I have no desire to grind for days upon days to get to level 30, and so I have uninstalled the game to free hard drive space for something better.

Entertainment and Re-playability is off the charts (2009-01-06)
For anyone who is tired of paying for an online game, but still wants quality, D2 LOD is the best. It's addictive if you want it to be, but it is a fabulous time waster!
A great game with plenty of depth, and the re-playability is astounding, with 7 classes to choose from and 3 difficulty settings, it will take you a long time to get tired of this game! Highly recommended!

An Amazing Product From Top To Bottom (2009-03-10)
This is a really well made game. Every detail is very well thought out, and high quality from top to bottom. The graphics, the sounds, the characters are superb. The game runs flawlessly on my computer, and is easy for newcomers to pick up. Their customer support is also very good, always answering my questions in a timely and helpful manner.

This game requires thought, strategy, planning, and skill. They dynamic aspect of having other live players online with you at the same time is amazing. You can go on adventures solo, or you can team up with other online players. It is a pleasure to watch your character gain experience and learn new things. Given its popularity, which is well deserved, it is probably one of the best games you'll ever play.

WOW, what can I say? (2009-03-08)
World of Warcraft Battlechest

The game arrived just as my trial period was to expire. I have played several times a week since it arrived. The price was competitive and (for me) shipping was free.

World of Warcraft fanatic!

Dad that got addicted...... (2009-02-25)
My son decided to get this so he could play with his cousins. Well, I just had to give it a try and now we have to machines running side by side and having a blast. It's been a real bonding time for us. I did have an Everquest account for a few years, so I had some idea that I would like this too, just didn't expect him to be into it.

Battlechest (2009-02-20)
World of Warcraft is a great game, of course. But this package with the two handbooks is not that great. I don't really use the guide books. You can find all that info online, or in better guides.

WARNING... do not purchase if you are in college. (2009-02-19)
I must admit, I was one of those who made fun of WOW players. Well, I got bored one day and decided to download the free 10-day trial and 2 months later, I now have a high level Mage and Death Knight.

This is without any doubt THE best game I have ever played in my entire life. 2 of my friends tried WOW and now they are hooked. When you see the scale and incomprehensible size of the game, you will understand why there is a monthly subscription fee. The servers run flawlessly, always updated with new content and believe me, you will actually save money since you will no longer want to go shopping, watch movies, dining out, etc.. lol

If you are still in college, avoid this game or you just might be retaking some classes lol. Im glad I finished undergraduate and graduate school before discovering the game at 29 years old.

This game is worth ever single dollar and kudos to Blizzard. WOW is a masterpiece!

My computer specs:

AMD Athlon 6200 X2
6GB ram
Vista 64 Pro
500gb HDD
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 512mb
Logitech Headset with microphone

I can run on max settings at 60+ FPS.

My macbook, runs it just fine too, but graphic settings must be lowered and framerates do suffer too. Still playable.

Amazon.com Product Description
Fans of World of Warcraft, prepare for Blizzard Entertainment's next installment -- World of Warcraft: Wrath of King Lich. In this latest expansion, something is afoot in the cold, harsh northlands. The Lich King Arthas has set in motion events that could lead to the extinction of all life on Azeroth. The necromantic power of the plague and legions of undead armies threaten to sweep across the land. Only the mightiest heroes can oppose the Lich King and end his reign of terror.

Enter the Death Knight
This expansion adds a host of content to the already massive existing game world. Players will achieve soaring levels of power, explore Northrend (the vast icy continent of the Lich King), and battle high-level heroes to determine the ultimate fate of Azeroth. As you face the dangers of the frigid, harsh north, prepare to master the dark necromantic powers of the Death Night -- World of Warcraft's first Hero class. No longer servants of the Lich King, the Death Knights begin their new calling as experienced, formidable adversaries. Each is heavily armed, armored, and in possession of a deadly arsenal of forbidden magic.

If you have a World of Warcraft account with a character of at least level 55, you will be able to create a new level-55 Death Knight of any race (if on a PvP realm, the Death Knight must be the same faction as your existing character). And upon entering the new world, your Death Knight will begin to quest to level 80, gaining potent new abilities and talents along the way. This expansion allows for only one Death Knight per realm, per account.

New Environments in Northrend Await
Journey through the remote, diverse lands of Northrend and explore Dragonblight, Grizzly Hills, Borean Tundra, and Howling Fjord. Named for bones of perished dragons and majestic shrines to the fallen creatures, Dragonblight is an arctic wasteland surrounded by dense forests.

Not everything is frozen in Northrend. The lush mountains of Grizzly Hills are the ancestral home to the furbolgs, who have grown accustomed to relative peace. Although their tranquility is being challenged by trappers, goblins, and ice trolls, Grizzly Hills remains a vast and dangerous wilderness.

The southwestern tip of Northrend is home to the sprawling Borean Tundra. The Horde has established a dominant presence in this icy portion of the continent and has formed a bond with the tuskarr, a walrus-like race of nomadic fisherman. Magical energy is afoot in the region, and it has caused increased tension.

High above the Great Sea at the southeastern tip of Northrend lies the Howling Fjord. Ancient mythology holds that a race of half-giant warriors, the vrykul, once inhabited the land, founding a prosperous civilization. They mysteriously vanished, leaving deserted villages and abandoned temples. In present times, the Alliance and the Horde have come to Howling Fjord to confront the Lich King. Strangely, this has prompted the return of the vrykul, who are attacking the Alliance and Horde settlements. Howling Fjord presents a difficult challenge on two fronts: withstanding the vrykul's onslaught and battling the evil Lich King.

A Multitude of Monsters
Strange and terrifying creatures inhabit the frozen continent of Northrend, such as Nerubian Viziniers, Plague Eruptors, Shoveltusks and Flesh Giants, to name just a few. Half-spider, half-humanoid, the viziniers utilize sorcery and high intelligence to emerge as the rulers of Nerubians' underground kingdom. The Plague Eruptors are walking corpses created by the Lich King's evil experiments to spread horror and chaos across the living world.

Massive curved antlers make it easy to identify the Shoveltusks. These grumpy beasts are very dangerous, territorial, and best left alone. The Flesh Giants are nothing short of nightmarish abominations. Cobbled together from the pieces of giant body parts, the Flesh Giants employ tremendous strength to carry out the Lich King's wishes.

The World of Warcraft: Wrath of King Lich expansion pack allows you to engage in epic siege warfare. The pack presents the first Hero class and allows you to transform your Death Knight's look with character customization that even include hairstyles and dances. You'll enjoy exploring the Northrend and all its environments and dungeons, filled with some of the deadliest creatures -- and greatest treasures -- on all of Azeroth.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack (2009-04-02)
Pros:

This game is easy to get addicted to because of diversity. Not many games along with the quests, raids, dungeons, have tradeskills you can use to make things and sell at a an auction house or give to your other guild members, or put in a guild bank. Not many others have mail so you can send peoples characters items and money or your own other toons. Overall this is a good game.

Cons:

They have improved most of the things I complained about in the past, walking five miles in the snow barefoot as a ghost to restore your body without being able to fly there and having the guy you just wasted for a quest respawn so you have to kill him again. There are several more graveyards now, but still not enough to suit me. I can live with that though, but why they felt the need to take away our ability to use our flying mounts that we got in Outlands is beyond me. In Neverend you have to RE-BUY flight (coldweather flight training, please their are cold places in Outland) at level 77 for the ridiculous high amount of $3000 GP. There are times I want to get a hold of the people that think these idiotic ideas up at Blizzard. I doubt Blizzard needs all this in-game gold unless they are selling it to the Chinese so they can sell it back to the WoW players. So if you think I hate your Cold Weather Training at level 77 in Neverend you are right Blizzard. It almost made me quit the game. Pull something as idiotic on the next expansion and you can bank on me quitting.

Fun short-term, but no legs... (2009-04-02)
This review is for those who have played WoW, stopped for one reason or another and are considering coming back to the game. If you have not played the game before, I apologize as the following may not mean a lot to you. I've played since beta (October 2004), have 3 level 80 characters (covering tanking, healing and damage), and will be leaving the game until the next expansion (if not permanently).

There are a lot of positives about this expansion at the beginning. There is always excitement about the new continent and, in this case, the new class (Death Knight). Blizzard has also done some notable changes to the mechanics of the game.

The leveling experience is good on the new continent (Northrend) in that the zones seem more vibrant than in the Burning Crusade expansion. The dungeons are much shorter in this expansion, so you don't spend as much time (or gain as much experience) going through them. The quests are pretty much standard fair except that there are new mechanics with siege engines and mounts that are essentially mini-games inside of the game. Initially, they are very enjoyable. One frustration with leveling is that you can't get to the new capital until Level 74 unless you have a mage/warlock friend or pay for the service...so going to a capital city to train until then requires travel across continents.

Once you reach level 80, you have the ability to enter the dungeons in heroic mode or go on raids. For those that played Burning Crusade, heroics and raids (both 10 man and 25 man) is greatly watered down. Blizzard has acknowledged this and has stated that they prefer the current state of affairs. While this means that anyone can see all the content, it also means that there is no challenge associated with running heroics or raids. My first attempt with a poorly equipped and poorly skilled PUG (pick up group) into the primary 10 man raid (Naxx) was wildly successful (more than 1/2 of the raid instance cleared in a few hours). With the lack of challenge (due to the ease), there is no sense of progression. It also seems to have created a large population of arrogant players who think they are great which drains the fun of interacting with people in the game.

Blizzard's decisions regarding the change in player mechanics has left the game severely out of balance. There is a noticeable lack of certain classes / specs for the PvE (player versus environment) and PvP (player versus player) aspects of the game. Tanking is more enjoyable since a tank can contribute significantly to the damage part of the games, but there is a distinct shortage of healers that will frustrate anyone trying to PUG the otherwise trivial heroics and raids. Threat is almost never a concern, cc (crowd control) is no longer needed, and damage dealers (dps) can be rather incompetent and still put out sufficient damage. This means that there is no longer need to plan out how to approach a trash mob or a boss...pretty much charging in and firing away works just fine for nearly all encounters. Healers are left on the short end of the stick (hence the shortage) since AoE (area of effect) tanking is now the rule (thus increased damage against the tank) and many times dps aren't bothering to avoid damage. Additionally, there are some bosses / raids and heroic instances where you are essentially stuck with a pre-made character (e.g. riding a dragon) which means no matter how well you progress, you will remain stuck with the pre-made character.

Since Blizzard has still not separated PvP and PvE abilities (durations, damage, etc), the resilience band-aid is still going strong for PvP, and has become even more critical to PvP success. PvP is tuned for those with 600+ resilience, effectly leaving out the casual PvP player who will find themselves being destroyed by the new mechanics because they will not easily be able to get to that level of resilience (and, yes, the rogue stun-lock until you are dead is still a very common experience until you have high resilience). The plate classes (warriors, paladins, death knights) all have high damage now which has left most cloth classes (mages, warlocks, priests) out in the cold until they can obtain the high levels of resilience gear. Very noticeably missing from battlegrounds are shamans (except resto). Mages and priests are becoming scarce. This results in battlegrounds that have less and less variation since they are becoming more dominated by high damage, high armor classes. Arenas are much the same...one glance at the top teams [..] shows you the lack of variation and imbalance that has developed.

The next content update promises more of the same (again, Blizzard has clearly stated that they are happy with the state of game's PvE ease, and there are no indications that the PvP imbalances will be notably addressed) except that healers (already in short supply) will have the additional frustration of lowered mana regeneration.

In summary, if you are looking for a non-challenging game, this expansion will be a very positive experience for you. If you enjoyed the strategy and the rewards that only came with working on your character(s), this game will be a major disappointment once you've gotten to level 80.

Complete and utter GARBAGE! Just a new carrot to put on the string (2009-03-23)
I also did my review at gamespot here it is for aamazon.

This game is complete garbage! Before I even get into the review I want to note that this game is broken. If you do purchase the expansion just be prepared for server crashes, restarts, and appologies from Blizzard stating that the realms will be down for 4 hours or more while they fix issues with the new content. Heck, even if your playing on the old "content" you still will be sitting at your computer looking at the Sign on screen.

I wish Blizzard would work on making new and interesting game content, rather than putting a new paint job on the same old house. The new world looks the same as the old worlds. Just a few design differences. Nothing truly out of this world or note worthy. The new PVP battleground was nothing to brag about. Picture Alterac Valley with a fortress you defend. The new PVP gear is just a new and even more horrible grind. PVP armor is 60K a piece and there are 5 pieces to collect. Enjoy having no life and spending hours farming the honor needed for those sets. Not to mention enjoy trying to earn those points fighting against the horrible class balancing that Blizzard makes an attempt to fix every new patch.

The real killer is that Blizzard almost forces you to buy the expansion. All the old cities are just about empty now. Shatterah is a ghost town, better yet Outlands are like a barren wasteland now. All the previous battle grounds are now 70+ , so if your decked out in that PVP armor enchanted to the teeth good luck getting swated by people 9 levels higher than you. The only BG that seems untouched is the Alterac Valley(which is 61-70). Mostly what you'll find are bunches of 60's and few 70's as most accounts have moved on and leveled, level some games noticably uneven (20 to 40). There are new arts and crafts for you to learn, and world PVP is still boring as ever. Invade a city and be prepared for 90 Gaurds to spawn and wipe you.

Aside from,10 new levels, some new items and trades, a new area to run around in (which looks more like a missmash of the previous games rolled into one), there really isnt much to do. Blizzard has the greedy idea to keep you playing longer they should at more levels, but once you hit the cap, they give you little to do afterwards. Usually it's one of 3. Raid,ARENA, or make a new character. You'll eventually end up with the same problem you had last game. Decked out in the best armor and bored as hell with nothing to do. Like I always argued with people, Blizzard needs to work on adding fun and exciting game content, not regurgitated ideas from yesteryear.
Overall the Wrath Of The Lich King is nothing new or worth buying, unless you just want to hit 80.

To all the people who gave a bad review (2009-03-21)
first i would like to point out because this has been bugging me.. "this game is not for little kids (im giving it a 1) LOOK ON THE BACK OF THE BOX!!!! what does it say??? T for teen, Blood (which i havent seen), Violence, suggestive themes, alchohol. Your 5 year old shouldnt be playing it anyways dont you look at the rating your obviously not very careful or really just dont care.

People who complain that killing innocent people for fun. It's called a Death Night for a reason what do you want them to do? ride on rainbows and run around in sunny feilds telling everyone they love them? Also if you played for more than an hour you would see that actualy that behavior isnt excepted once you get into org or stormwind you are spit on an get old food thrown at you and boo'ed. Then you realize.. maybe i shouldnt be doing this.. and you team up AGAINST the lich king and become GOOD and people LIKE YOU.

i give it a 4 for fun, not a 5 because i find myself never playing with my friends and most people ignore you when you talk to them. I tell my friends what team im on an they will go join the opposite team because they like the characters more an think that we can still quest togeather /palmtoface or they are either to high of a level that you cant quest with them or they are lvl 1 and you are lvl 70 and dont want to help with with EVERY SINGLE quest to 70.

i give it a 3 over all because why should we pay more for wotlk when we are getting less? BC got 2 new races, new armor, new instances and +10 levels. we get 1 new class, new armor, new instances and +10 levels for 10$ more??? im 16 and cant get a job because of the resession (cant spell) and my parents dont hand money to me on a silver platter. 40$ is a lot to ask for when you are giving us LESS. Now if it was the price that i bought BC 30$ i would consider buying more likely. and would give this game a 5.

Awesome upgrade -- A must have for serious WOW gamers (2009-03-18)
My 17 year old son has been playing WOW for a couple of years and just when I think I can rest assured no more spending is required (other than the monthly subscription) along comes a new upgrade. I must say that my son's opinion is that this game is a must have for all WOW gamers...more levels, more capabilities, better interaction with his friends who already had the upgrade, etc. etc. He loves it and can't waite for the next installment. Somehow that makes it well worth every cent.
