great product (2009-03-23)
i was very happy when my product came sooner than expected. the game was
wrapped in new packaging as specified. the game has been played every day
since i recieved it. i am very pleased with it. i had a very old version
(2001). i didt't realize what i was missing until this game. the
graphics are amazing as well as the character content. but my favorite
is the hoyle bucks, where you earn bucks to purchase items for the game
like new backgrounds or new cards,or a whole host of things because
there's a catalogue to choose from. easy to use and fun. i would re-
commend this game to anyone.
pleased (2009-03-22)
thank you for the game. i have had so much fun playing it. others that get this game enjoy it...
Hours of entertainment (2009-03-10)
The Hoyle card games 2008 was easy to install on my Vista laptop, and is easy to use. Hours of great card game fun of all kinds. It is helping me learn how to play bridge, and I am even winning now and then.
I can recommend it to any one who enjoys card games but has no card playing partner.
Great to have the games for Mac OS X (2009-02-27)
I enjoyed these games when they were available in Mac OS 9 and was unhappy when the product wasn't upgraded, until now. It's good to have the old friend back, now much enhanced.
Very Disappointed (2009-02-16)
I wanted to pick up this program so that I could play Pinochle when I didn't have enough other players to play a physical card game. I am used to playing 4-handed single-deck, passing 4 cards between the winning bidders. I was resoundingly disappointed to find that this program did not allow you to pass four cards with your team-mate. No use for it now, and I have to find a program that will allow me to play Pinochle that way.
